Makanjuola is the Executive Director (Business Development) at emPLE Life Assurance, overseeing corporate segment KPIs. He previously led Corporate Business at Old Mutual Nigeria Life Assurance, achieving significant growth since 2020. With 18+ years of experience, he has held roles at Guaranty Trust Assurance (now AXA Mansard Insurance), focusing on business development, risk advisory, strategy, and underwriting.
He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Anglia Ruskin University and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACIIN) and the Association of Enterprise Risk Management Professionals (AERMP). He is also an alumnus of the Wits Business School.
